Assistant Principal & Athletic Director - Indian Land Middle
“The big picture is that these former students are here pouring into our students, I can look in their faces and see students that get it. I can talk to these kids 365 days a year, but it's something about having these former students tell their story; I can see the connections being made. The path that they've walked and how it resonates with our students. I'm very appreciative of what HeartLed has doneSometimes your generation gets the knock of being selfish. you all being here and selflessly sharing your story, giving back the way you do, it's encouraging because I feel like the future is bright because of young people like yourselves passionate about giving back. So that's what I took from it.”

“I cried and held back a lot of tears when Mitchell Talked … it reminded me of my adolescence when I had to realize the importance of my choices … to make sure I made the right decisions for not only myself, but in order to be there for my loved ones as well…I loved when he said … It's not the bad things that happen to us, it's the decisions we make that bring on more bad things in our lives….I love they all had the growth mindset, that’s what we need to accomplish more in this day”
